Amarachukwu Elekwa is an Associate at the firm with robust expertise in Intellectual Property law and Commercial dispute resolution. She undertakes a wide range of assignments in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution and Corporate & Commercial practice units, where she provides legal advisory and representation to several blue-chip companies, IOCs, and the Central Bank of Nigeria. Amara manages IP portfolios for several companies and has extensive experience in company secretarial practice.
Amarachukwu Elekwa serves as an ambassador to the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC), and a Youth ambassador to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Amara is also a recipient of the maiden World Intellectual Property Organization award (2020) for her paper titled “Making Innovation work for a Green future in Nigeria”.
